The first love is usually the hardest to forget and the easiest to fall in. It's believed that the first love is the most important because it's the one that will teach you how to use your heart. I'm sure that most of us believe that our first love may be the last one. Some people start fantasizing about living the rest of their lives with the person they first fell in love with, while others believe that their first heartbreak will be the last because their hearts won't be able to love again.
Let me tell you something, let me tell you the fuk'd up truth. The first love rarely lasts, but it is undoubtedly the one that will mark you for a lifetime. That feeling of butterflies, when you are flying, and your mind is no longer in this world, or when you believe that it's impossible to live without that particular person. It's beautiful at the moment, and it's okay if one of you stops feeling the way you felt when you first met. After all, you're a teenager. You're growing up. Your body's developing, finding who you are, and learning about your emotions. That self-learning process keeps improving throughout your life.
So, yeah! Maybe your paths will be different at some point, and you should not feel guilty because of that. Most importantly, you shouldn't have believed that your first love will be your last love. Relationships are just moments and experiences that will help you learn more about yourself and what you want. Never underestimate an experience... because, in the end, your darkness, light, desire, and pain are the ones that will make you who you are. The fuk'd up truth is that the first love is fleeting, but we are still so desperate to feel it, that we're willing to risk it.
Taking into consideration that yes, maybe you won't feel that love again, but that is the reason why your first love is different from the other ones you will have.
