Mothers

As you know, today is mother’s day. An international celebration of mother’s to commemorate and honour their presence in our lives. As many consider, mothers are the most important people in our lives because they are guides to becoming the people we are today. Since we are born, we create a bond and a connection to these powerful women because they nourish and bear for us. And as I have been connecting more with energy, I realized that there are energy bonds; as I mentioned in a previous article, we are energy transmitters. So, yes, when we are born, we are connected with our mothers, whether we like it or not. I mean by this that these energy bonds are heart-based when we are closest to our mothers, or power-based, where we can have issues or can create controlled and complicated interactions, and sometimes it can be both. We are energetically connected, and this makes us have an energy exchange with them.

So, now, as usual, I will tell you about my personal experience with my mom. My mom and I didn’t always have a good relationship, and it wasn’t until a few years ago that we started to open up and have clear communication. Additionally, we began to be honest with each other, which allowed us to understand who we are and why we are the way we are. This past year, during the pandemic and lockdown, we started our sofa talks; we talked about our day and about what we were thinking about. Let’s just say we reinforced our bond because this pandemic has been hard for us, and this was our coping mechanism. We were able to become our complementary therapists. Why? Because our moms are the ones who understand the most and who know us the best if we let them.

Our moms are the best relationship we can have; we can make them our best friends, which my mom has become for me. My mom has become my confidant and my mentor; she has lived enough to teach me lessons and give me advice based on her experiences. Our moms are those who can be there, and we should say thank you to them, not only today but every day. Honour your mom and show her you love her.
