It is horrible to feel that you are becoming the person that you swear you would never be. It is heartbreaking to see how all those names they called you are becoming a reality. That is why it is so hard to accept the truth that had always been there. It is complicated to let your heart feel things that you are afraid to see, and I’m not only talking about homosexuality. Everyone needs to experiment with their bodies and their sexuality to be able to practice it safely, obviously while putting your limit and always using protection...btw.
Fagg#% and Dyk$ are the common words that were tattooed on our foreheads, telling us how disgusting, embarrassing, and even sinful they were. Don’t even dare to walk in that direction, because once you are there, you only keep drowning. For society, you are not allowed to doubt, to experiment, or even to feel. I believe that love does not have a specific form, everyone should respect that, because if you are interested in the happiness of others, you shouldn’t judge them when they find their path.
At the same time, it is wrong to force someone to accept something that they are not ready to see or do. Everyone has time to discover themselves. It is never too late or too soon to find your happiness. And please...PLEASE! Help us to stop those homophobic comments, because they aren’t only words, they become scars in the hearts of people; making someone feel disgusted by themselves as if your heart is mistaken and you are doing everything wrong.
Finding your way is much harder than what people think. Take your time to see what you want in life. Trust me; you don’t need to put a label to it; you just need to be happy with it. You aren’t forced to explain to others what you are feeling. The only thing that matters is how does it make YOU feel? Don’t be afraid to try out the Buffet that the world offers; I know it is tempting, so try it out. What do you have to lose, honestly? Life’s too short. And if someone ever tells you that your heart is in the wrong place, stop listening to them…if someone decides to walk away from you because you are different – unique, better said -, remember that you are not alone and you will always have a place in The Fuk’d Up Truth.
